Handmade furniture in Barcelona
We design and build in our own workshop in Barcelona, in short runs. Every piece passes through the same hands from start to finish: we do not subcontract production.

We are surrounded by disposable objects. GeTT was born from the opposite idea: think pieces through with time, make them in materials that age well, and leave them ready to keep you company for years.

Woods we respect.
We work only with solid wood, of known origin, unstained. Every grain is the signature of the piece.
Guayubira
Solid wood with a strong grain ranging from pale yellow to greenish brown. Hard, dense, with character of its own — every piece is different.
From idea to your home.
Each piece passes through the same hands, in the same workshop, beginning to end.
Drawing and prototype
Every piece starts on paper. We test proportions, joints and visual weight in a real prototype before we settle on it.
Wood selection
We pick planks by grain and stability. We work with local suppliers, and only solid wood.
Workshop production
Cuts, joints, sanding and assembly by hand. Small batches, no assembly line. If it doesn’t come out right, we make it again.
Finish and packaging
Natural oiling, careful inspection of every surface, and packaging designed to arrive intact anywhere in the country.
Frequently asked questions about our woods
What is guayubira wood?
It is a South American solid hardwood (Patagonula americana), hard and dense, with a very pronounced grain ranging from pale yellow to greenish brown. As it is left unstained, every piece comes out different from the last.
And paraná pine?
Araucaria angustifolia: a pale wood with a fine, even, knot-free grain. It is light and stable, which is why we use it for shelving and structural pieces.
Why solid wood rather than board?
Because it ages well and can be repaired. Plywood or MDF swells with humidity and cannot be sanded back; solid wood can be sanded, re-waxed and carry on.
How do I care for oiled wood furniture?
A dry or barely damp cloth day to day, no abrasive products. Once a year, or when the colour loses depth, a thin coat of wood oil or wax brings it back.
